Atlas Physio is pleased to provide bulk‑billed services under the Chronic Disease Management program (formerly Enhanced Primary Care). CDM referrals are written by your doctor and entitle you to Medicare‑subsidised appointments each year.

You may access up to five subsidised appointments annually, which can be shared across allied health professions or used entirely for one specialty such as Physiotherapy, Podiatry, or Speech Pathology. CDM plans help GPs coordinate care for patients with chronic conditions, often involving a team of providers.

Receiving physiotherapy as a bulk‑billing client differs from private treatment, so please note:

Referral Required

A GP referral is essential for Medicare subsidy. Please bring this to your appointment, as it’s how billing is processed. Without a referral, you may either reschedule or attend at the standard rate, with a receipt provided for reimbursement.

Assessment and Reporting

Subsidised treatment requires ongoing reassessment and progress reports to your doctor or other relevant parties. Atlas Physio will respect your privacy and minimise exposure of personal information. See our consent and privacy documentation for details.

No Additional Fees 

​

Medicare sets the maximum consultation fee, and Atlas Physio will never charge above this rate. Only optional extras such as gym memberships, equipment, or out‑of‑clinic costs are your responsibility. If you are a new patient, your first appointment will be an initial assessment at normal duration and cost.
